Voting

This year more than ever, it's important to vote. I would love to say that I can offer you an unbiased opinion, but I can't really. The truth is, we have to do whatever we can to get Bush out of office.

There are the right people for the right time, and Bush is neither.

Please make sure to register to vote. And make sure we get Bush out of the White House. The damage done by Bush has been severe, but it is not permanent. Give him another four years and there will be no going back -- we'll have only ourselves to blame.

And for those of us in the those westernmost states that don't get to vote in the Presidential election, there are always the European Parliament elections on June 13.

(But I had to look up val.se to find out the date - on the Parliament's own home page it was nowhere to be seen.)

Funny...then they have learned what Human Resource departments around the world have learned: "give them just enough information to send them somewhere else."

i'm not from the states, but the US electoral process always intriguesd me, what with the party nominations, caucuses, faulty counting system, etc.

i can't say i liked dubya (never did, never will), or even his father before him.

if i were an american, i'd be sure to vote. and i wish all eligible voters would, too, coz whoever's US prez can affect everyone in gawd's green earth.

yeah, unfortunately, the US has a disportionate amount of power, even though it plays a major role. We all hail the end of the Cold War, and I certainly don't want to go back to having nukes pointed at the US, but as in all systems (ecological and political), there really does need to be a check and balance that we just don't have right now.

because there is no balance to check the US, zionism is beginning to replace constructive engagement.

Re:
Well I just printed out all of my voting registration materials. Let's hope that the Dem presidential ticket is either Kerry/Edwards...it makes the most sense for success.
